The Daily Thinker: Carefully Curated Quotes From the World’s Greatest Thinkers

Happy New Year!

Alright, I wanted to share with you something that I do on New Year’s which is purchase “The Daily Thinker: Carefully Curated Quotes From Some of the Greatest Thinkers “.

What it is is 365 days of some really fun quotes that allow you contemplation, maybe meditation and definitely are thought provoking. But best, 100% of the proceeds go towards supporting Dyslexic Advantage. Dyslexic Advantage is a charitable organization helping transform the ways dyslexics are understood and promote a positive identity in the community.

So just to sell you on this a little bit more, some of my favorites. Each month has a theme, and so in the month of October, the theme was Purpose and this was a good one. This one said: “Be the designer of your own world, not the consumer of it.”

Alright, the next one, another good one – Gratitude: “If you set down crying because you missed the sunset, you will miss the privilege of seeing the stars.” And that is so beautiful. At times I have to remind myself of that too. Don’t forget the opportunity that always sits in front of you, even out of a disappointment.

And then last, because this is funny, and they can be really funny, by Friedrich Nietzsche: “If you kill a cockroach, you’re a hero. But if you kill a butterfly, you are bad. You see, morality has aesthetic standards.”

So, find this link and there will be a prize in there for somebody to have their very own copy of “The Daily Thinker”. Look for that.
